Pioneers:: 5th & 6th Graders

Pioneers: Camp Lutherhaven’s traditional summer camp program for 5th and 6th graders!
Whether it is your first summer at camp or your 4th summer, Pioneers get to add exclusive camp traditions just for them! All Pioneer campers get to experience a sleepout at Homestead Village (one of the best spots to see the stars at camp!) and the Giant Swing. On top of these experiences Pioneer campers experience cookouts, arts & crafts, plenty of time at the waterfront on our water toys, way-awesome Bible Study, amazing worship and campfires, and great new friends.
- Time at the waterfront: Swimming, giant inflatable water toys, stand up paddle boards, canoes, and beach volleyball.
- Fun camp activities: Camp games, silly songs, arts & crafts, run-around games, archery, mini golf, basketball, low ropes course, and challenge yourself on the high beam.
- Exploring Outdoors: Campfires with s’mores, hiking, cook one of your dinners over a campfire, and sleep out under the stars for a night.
- Building Faith: Worship together with the camp community, Bible studies with your cabin group, PTWG (personal time with God), and don’t forget support and mentorship from your camp counselor.

- Half Week: June 29-July 1 *Please note, pick-up for the half week session will be at dinner time (not mid-day!). All campers attending June 29-July 1 will get a full day on Tuesday and the week will conclude with a family BBQ!
