Shoshone Mountain Retreat
Located on the western edge of the ruggedly famous Bitterroot Mountains at the confluence of Shoshone Creek and the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River.
For groups from 20 to 100. Dormitory lodging provides ideal facilities for large youth group gatherings. Three large guest houses provide private, family-style accommodations for families and smaller groups up to 60.
Wilderness adventure abounds literally out our back door: mountain hikes, nationally-renowned “best in the west” Rails-to-Trails biking, inner-tubing down the river, world class fly fishing, rock climbing, and plenty more all take place from the comfort of a well-maintained and home-style camp environment. Wonderful food is essential to a successful retreat, and Shoshone’s food service staff turns meal-time into a dining experience where family-style, pleasing meals are served in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Want an extra snack or banquet? Let us know, everything will be arranged ahead of time.
Please note all food allergies on your registration form at least 10 days prior to your arrival at camp. View the dietary restrictions form.

Forest House at Shoshone Mountain Retreat has been completely remodeled, with a beautiful fireplace lounge, your own complete kitchen, 6 private bedrooms with queen size beds, bunk beds, sinks, and private bathrooms down the hall.
Step outside to soak in the mountain beauty, stroll up the creek to our historic Shoshone Creek Ranch, see more stars at night than you ever thought possible, and fall asleep to the sound of Shoshone Creek just a stone’s throw away. Beautiful Shoshone Mountain Retreat will quickly become your group’s favorite place to get away… whether to get crafty with your friends, float (or fish!) the river, or snowmobile and sled through the mountains!
