Welcome Center (WC)
The Welcome Center is the first building you’ll see when you arrive at camp. It holds Lutherhaven’s office space, two full time staff apartments as well as space for big groups to meet. Heat and air conditioning inside along with a propane fireplace. Outside, is a patio with seating for 10 surrounding and outdoor fire pit.
The Welcome Center also has a kitchenette with a:
- Sink
- Microwave
- Refrigerator
- Dishwasher
- Coffee/tea bar
Pinecrest Lodge Retreat Center (RC)
The Pinecrest Lodge Retreat Center was the first building on camp, constructed during the winter and spring of 1945-46. It served as the original Administration Building for 25 years. In 1970 Lutherhaven decided to take the step to be a year-round camp. Pinecrest lodge was remodeled to become the signature “lodge” at camp. 45 years later it was time for another update and the final dedication was held on June 3, 2017.
Today, the 3-floor Pinecrest Lodge Retreat Center has 15 “retreat style” rooms with individual bathrooms, an expanded lounge area for small groups of 50 to 30 and amenities for older adults, persons with disabilities and the mobility challenged.
The lodge also has a public bathroom and a mini kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, and coffee/tea bar.
Chapel
The Lutherhaven Chapel is a multi-purpose building that is great for groups of 15 to 250 people.

- Two large TVs set up on either side of the alter can be used for presentations
- Portable panel walls to separate the meeting space into sections
- Fireplace
- Coffee/tea bar with sink
- Bathrooms
Sunset Room
The Sunset Room, located underneath the Chapel, is a popular choice for groups of 15 to 60. It includes a large meeting area and a smaller lounge area with comfy couches and chairs, a wood burning fireplace and a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the lake.

Outdoor Spaces
Lutherhaven has many outdoor spaces for your groups to gather and play.
The Lakeside Amphitheater sits along the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene with beautiful views of the lake. The bleacher style U-shaped seating surrounds a fire-pit great for late-night campfire worship.
The Outdoor Chapel is tucked among the trees providing shade during the hot summer days. Inclined bench seating surrounding the altar allows everyone a clear view to the front.
Lutherhaven’s Waterfront includes numerous water toys, a waterside, a shallow area and deep end. Life jackets, sand toys, inner tubes, paddle-boards and canoes are all available for use upon approval from a camp director. The beachfront includes a beach volleyball net, a tetherball pole, 18-hole putt-putt golf course, a basketball court, an outdoor pavilion, and beach bathrooms with showers.
The Ball Field is the perfect place for any recreational activity at camp.
Dining Hall
Lutherhaven’s Dining hall includes indoor eating space for up to 230, an outdoor deck and patio area with fireplace, an indoor fireplace, a coffee and tea bar and gorgeous views of Lake Coeur d’Alene.
Lakeview Room/Trading Post
The Lakeview room, located underneath the dining hall, is a popular location for groups of 15 to 30. Large windows provide for beautiful views of the lake. The Lakeview room is home to the Lutherhaven Trading Post during the summer and is also open during various year-round retreats or by request of rental groups.
Merchandise: candy, snocones, ice cream, Gatorade, and lots of camp Swag including t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, water bottles, stickers and more!
Lattes are also served from the Lakeview room to adults during year round retreats.
The kitchenette area is set behind a counter for serving and includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, ice chest, microwave, sink and coffee/tea bar.
Cozy up by the gas fireplace during the winter and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake.

Lutherhaven’s recreational outdoor activities include:

Cabins/Sleeping Quarters
Cabins on East Side of Camp
Ridgeline & Timberline, Morning Star & Evening Star and Big Thunder & Rolling Thunder.
Each cabin grouping consists of two cabins side by side, one a split level cabin with bunks on the top and bottom floors and a bathroom in the middle. The other side is a one-level cabin with bunks and a bathroom. All cabins have heat.
Guest Cottage
Enjoy this cozy cabin for a weekend getaway! Three piece bathroom, queen bed, full size futon, porch overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene and a coffee/tea bar.
Treehouse & Castaway Villages
Treehouse & Castaway are Lutherhaven’s two village camps. Campers sleep in giant tree houses or canvas wall tents.
Good Earth Lodge
Good Earth Lodge is the main cabin on the West side of camp consisting of Cougar, Wild Goose, Little Otter, Kokanee and Diggers Den. Each cabin has individual bathrooms and sleep about 8-10 people.
